Brunton House is a truly wonderful place for an intimate country wedding, civil ceremony, naming ceremony or important occasion.
Your event at Brunton House will be completely unique; tailor-made by you. We don’t do packages and so it is up to the hosts to plan how the wedding or event works.
With beautiful surroundings and an enchanting atmosphere, we allow you to choose what you’d like to add to make it your own special place, with friends and family joining you, for that important moment in your life. We will help with recommendations, introduce you to suppliers we know well and be on hand during the day, but ultimately the choices are yours.

We just ask for details of the suppliers you are using, timings and numbers of guests, to be sure all the boring things you don’t want to have to think about are covered, such as insurance and parking.
Prices and availability are listed here. To marry or hold an event during your stay there is an event fee. This covers our extra costs such as further utilities, cleaning, gardening, staff and licenses, viewings prior to your arrival and many other hidden costs, leaving you to invite your nearest and dearest and plan it exactly how you want it.

Brunton House is just 2 miles from sandy beaches, between the famous castles of Dunstanburgh and Bamburgh, which make the most spectacular setting for wedding photographs.
We are officially licensed for indoor micro-ceremonies of up to 20 people. Celebrants should be booked well in advance with the friendly registrar team at ‘My Northumberland Wedding’.
Brunton House sleeps 16, plus there is also the option of our 3 cottages for other households a short walk from the house, subject to availability. We can suggest alternative accommodation very close by if necessary.
