This luxury holiday cottage is set on our tranquil organic farm, with wonderful views towards Brunton lake, and across the fields towards Beadnell Bay’s sandy beach. Perfectly situated midway between Alnwick and Bamburgh and close to Northumberland’s heritage coast, it offers ideal self-catering accommodation for a family or two couples. A dog, who understands life in the country, is also welcome.
Inside, the cottage is light, bright and full of interesting details. The welcoming open-plan living area achieves the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. There is cosy fire-side seating for the cooler months, and floor-to-ceiling windows with a sliding door opening onto the large, enclosed terrace for sunny days.
The bedrooms, all light, bright and immaculately-presented, boast Samsung smart TVs with Freeview, ample storage, and zip-and-link superking-size beds that can be configured as twin beds if preferred. They have top quality mattresses, sumptuous feather and down pillows and duvets, and crisp Egyptian cotton bed linen.
The bathrooms are pristine, with a power shower in one and a traditional tub for a good soak in the other. Fluffy white bath sheets and hand towels are provided alongside luxurious White Company toiletries.

Hallway
The main front door leads into this warm, dry, spacious room, which is perfect for dogs and storage. There is a washer-dryer next to the services cupboard.
Living area
with a comfortable sofa.com corner sofa and armchair, Clearview wood-burning stove, 43″ Samsung smart TV with Freeview and streaming apps including Netflix and Prime Video (own accounts needed) and carefully chosen books and games. Full-length sliding French windows open out onto a private, enclosed terrace with chairs and tables and views across the open fields to Beadnell Bay.

with a single oven, four-ring hob, microwave, American side-by-side fridge freezer, and integrated dishwasher.

Bedroom one
with a super-king or twin beds plus ample storage and hanging space, and a 24″ Samsung smart TV with Freeview and streaming apps. There is an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower, basin and toilet.

Outside and parking
Outside, there is an immaculate gravel and grass courtyard to the front and a pretty private terrace to the rear; a table and chairs to enjoy the fabulous views across the grass fields, the lake and to Beadnell Bay beyond. There is ample private parking to the side of the cottage.
Facilities for Infants
Travel cots and high chairs are available on request. A babysitting service is also available. The details are in the information file in the house or telephone or email in advance.
Dogs
Two well-behaved dogs are allowed by prior arrangement in the uncarpeted living areas of
Brunton Lake. Guests are responsible for ensuring dogs remain within these areas and are not allowed in carpeted rooms or to climb on to furniture. We are a dog-friendly working farm with livestock and machinery. Dogs must not be allowed to roam unsupervised and must be kept under close control at all times.
