This stylish, peaceful hideaway offers a perfect holiday cottage retreat for couples. Superbly situated midway between Alnwick and Bamburgh, and close to Northumberland’s Heritage Coast, it offers ideal self-catering accommodation for a couple.
From the immaculate grass and gravel courtyard, steps from the front door hall lead down into a light, bright and beautifully presented open-plan kitchen and sitting room. The overall feel is sophisticated yet homely; elegant neutrals are enlivened with splashes of seaside blues and warm reds, and antique rugs and eye-catching original artwork from local artists add to the cottageās uniqueness. Floor-to-ceiling windows make the most of fabulous views over the waterfalls and burn.
Back up the steps, the spacious bedroom is beautifully presented with subtle colours and light pouring in from the windows, just above the trickling burn. A fabulously quirky bathroom comes complete with funky pebble tiles and a porthole-style window in the large walk-in shower.
Sumptuous feather and down pillows and duvets, Egyptian cotton bed linen, fluffy Egyptian cotton towels and luxurious White Company toiletries are provided, plus a generous welcome hamper of local goodies on arrival, provide the finishing touches.
